Mission and objectives

Update-Conduct qualitative/quantitative data analysis and visualization of existing information and data on children to develop communication and advocacy material (online and prints).

Context

To strengthen communication and advocacy work (online and offline), UNICEF Algeria seeks to recruit an online volunteer expert in data and information analysis and visualization of data.

Task Description

We are looking for an Online Volunteers who under the guidance of Communication Officer and Evaluation and Monitoring Officer will support UNICEF Algeria to conduct qualitative/quantitative data analysis and prepare presentation of existing information and data in a compelling way for the production of communication material and data visualization. The Online Volunteer will be responsible for: • Develop a work- and tabulation plan to conduct the assignment • Analyze datasets: Examine and select datasets related to children’s well-being. • Develop data visualization and narrative interpretation: create interactive and dynamic visualization to communicate key findings and trends in communication and advocacy material • Identify insights and recommendations: Provide actionable insights and recommendations for dissemination and use based on data analysis and visualization • Collaborate with our team: work closely with communication, advocacy, planning and monitoring team to ensure data analysis and visualization meet UNICEF Algeria’s needs. The Online Volunteer will be provided with datasets to conduct the analysis and is required to update on the progress during regular calls.
