Main Purpose
The Isotope Hydrology Section requires a consultant with a background in water science to conduct exploratory data analysis of the results from the Global Water Analysis Laboratory (GloWAL) Baseline survey. The Consultant will generate key insights from the data provided by the Member State participants to support anticipatory action under the GloWAL Network initiative. He/she will develop indicators based on the baseline survey to evaluate progress of the GloWAL Network.
Functions / Key Results Expected
Interrogate and undertake empirical data analysis of the GloWAL Baseline Survey dataset.
Develop data visualization products to reflect key regional and global insights from the GloWAL Baseline Survey.
Provide technical input and expertise to the GloWAL Liaison Officer in preparing a comprehensive report including these results for the Member State participants.

Qualifications and Experience
Advanced Degree (masters) in Data Science, Water Science, communication or related fields.
Minimum five years of relevant experience in data science and data visualization.
Good knowledge of oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is an asset.
Remuneration
The remuneration for this consultancy is a daily fee of up to a maximum of € 250, based on qualifications and experience. In case duty travel is required within the assignment, a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) and travel costs are provided. Health coverage and pension fund are the responsibility of the incumbent.
