JOB DESCRIPTION

Task description
WFP Tajikistan seeks one experienced and creative Online Volunteer to support the development of a school-based awareness campaign focused on children with disabilities and good nutrition. Under the guidance of WFP’s Disability Inclusion (DI) and Programme teams, the Online Volunteer will:
• Define the campaign’s target audience, objectives, and intended outcomes.
• Draft a concept note, including rationale, approach, and key messages.
• Develop a campaign implementation plan, outlining activities, timeline, and stakeholders (e.g. PTAs, school administrators, OPDs).
• Provide a basic costing overview to support potential roll-out.
• Design one educational flyer on inclusive school nutrition and the links between disability, poor nutrition, and learning outcomes.

The assignment will be conducted remotely. Calls will be scheduled on Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Skype to ensure coordination and feedback.

Assignment requirements
Required experience
• Academic background in public health, education, nutrition, or a related field
• Proven experience in awareness campaign development and inclusive communications
• Strong writing and visual storytelling skills for diverse audiences
• Knowledge of disability inclusion, child rights, and the social model of disability
• Familiarity with participatory and community-based communication methods
