About the opportunities:
Based in one of our technology hubs (The Hague, Netherlands or Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium), you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the NATO Integrated Mobile Service Centre, which provides NATO and its partners with scalable, protected, secure, reliable, and integrated Wireless Communication-based Services with a focus on NATO Operations, Crisis Response, Missions, Exercises and Business Continuity. The NIMSC Chief is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities for centre’s following services: strategy, design, transition, operation and continuous service improvement including subject matter expertise, research and development, acquisition and logistic support.
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Solution Engineers for multiple roles, at levels G15-G17, who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
- Solution architecture
- Requirements definition and management
- Systems development management
- Sourcing
- Contract management

About you:
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to these roles are:
- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and at least 2+ years’ post-related experience (G15) or at least 3+ years post-related experience (G17); or substantial relevant experience can be considered a substitute for a degree.
- Experience supporting the design, implementation, or early-stage engagement of technical solutions
- Ability to analyse and translate requirements into actionable system specifications
- Familiarity with system integration and interoperability across technical domains
- Proficiency with engineering or documentation tools (e.g. DOORS, Sparx EA, JIRA, Confluence)
- Understanding of secure, structured environments such as NATO, defence, or government organisations (Desirable)
- Strong technical communication skills, including documentation of engineering decisions and trade-offs
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
