Mission and objectives
The primary and overarching objective of United Nations Development Programme in Kosovo is the eradication of poverty in the context of sustainable development, including the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, and promotion of United Nations fundamental principles. The core dimension in our approach is investing in human development, wealth creation (with emphasis on issues such as entrepreneurship, job creation) and institutional reform and capacity development.
Context
UNDP is looking for one volunteer who will conduct the layout and design for “Public Pulse Brief XXVII”. A flagship UNDP project, Public Pulse provides Kosovo stakeholders with timely data on people’s perception on institutional and socio-economic stability while serving as an essential analytical tool for building social cohesion and development efforts. In doing so, Public Pulse conducts bi-annual polls collecting people’s perceptions on political, socio-economic issues, social cohesion, and institutional stability. The findings are presented in Briefs, featuring key data and graphs. All References to Kosovo shall be understood to be in the context of UN Security Council resolution 1244 (1999)
