Area of ​​activity

The place of use for development assistants is anchored as part of the project “Sustainable Ecosystem and Agriculture Management for Rural Development in Mongolia” (Stream+), which is co -financed by the EU and implemented together by GIZ and FAO in cooperation with the responsible Mongolian ministries.The project aims to increase productivity, improve the basis of life and strengthen the resilience of species-rich ecosystems by promoting sustainable practices in agriculture and forestry, improving vocational training and introducing green technologies.The aim of the vocational training component is to further train vocational school teachers and operational trainers professionally and methodically, and to focus more on the training at the polytechnic in Zuunkharaa (Selenge Province).Vocational students should receive better employment opportunities through qualitatively improved, practical and labor market -oriented training.

Your tasks

Advising the vocational school and partner companies in the design and organization of dual training
Training and coaching of specialist teachers and operational trainers in the Tierwirt apprenticeship with the aim of improving practical and theoretical training as well as the training methods in the dual system
Advising partner companies in the planning and implementation of company training phases
Development of practical training and further education materials
Implementation of practice-oriented seminars, on-the-job training and further training measures
Participation in the further development of training standards and dual curricula
Advice on the effective use and equipment of specialist workshops including the selection of suitable tools and equipment
Professional advice in the relevant areas of the animal economy -in particular on the breeding and further development of new livestock breeds, tribes and types, for animal care, for species -appropriate attitude and for the needs -based feeding

Your profile

Completed professional qualifications;z.B. skilled workers, master, technician or graduate engineer
Verifiable practical experience in animal economy
Sound knowledge and experiences in dual vocational training
Pronounced didactic, methodological and educational skills
Experience in the facility, organization and maintenance of workshops and tools
Comprehensive professional experience in the relevant department as well as pronounced advisory skills
Intercultural competence as well as high communication and teamwork as well as a high degree of perseverance, commitment and a positive basic attitude
Negotiating German or English skills

Zuunkharaa is located about 174 km north of Ulaanbaatar and is a small town with around 25,000 inhabitants.The city is equipped with the most important facilities, including schools, health facilities and living opportunities.
