Description

International Organization for Migration is hiring a Assistant of CCCM Artibonite operations to be responsible for monitoring and implementing OIM CCCM activities and doing mobile management of collective sites and centers managed directly by OIM as well as the management of community resources centers (CRC).

Responsibilities and obligations

In particular, the operations assistant (CCCM) will be responsible for supporting general coordination in the field by performing the following tasks:

Collect multisectoral data in spontaneous sites, collective centers and in host communities;
Support authority in the implementation of the governance system and the promotion of community participation;
Organize training for the benefit of members of the PDIS committees in spontaneous sites, collective centers and community resources centers (CRC);
Liaise with local authorities including Directorate General for Civil Protection “DGPC” and develop good collaboration with them in order to obtain their support in time on the ground;
Coordinate and follow up on services organized by service providers in spontaneous sites and collective centers under direct management of the IOM;
Document complaints from PDIS and give feedback;
Treat individual cases and referencing if necessary;
Follow distributions (food, and not food) before and post distribution;
Implement recommendations from clusters meetings concerning spontaneous sites, collective centers and community resources centers (CRC);
Press the awareness of PDIS on different themes relating to the CCCM and the organization of discussion groups;
Liaison with the DTM unit for updating data in sites under IOM management;
Write the activity report.
Make other stains that can be assigned to him.

Qualifications and experiences required

EDUCATION

License or equivalent or higher diploma in psychology, sociology, social sciences, anthropology or in a related field, issued by an accredited academic establishment, accompanied by two years of relevant professional experience;Or,
Diploma or secondary education certificate with four years of relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE

At least two years of experience in the humanitarian field with a university diploma.
