Description

United Nations Population Fund is hiring a Youth innovator intern – Innovation trainee, adolescent unit, young and HIV to promote innovation with young people in order to contribute to the achievement of the three transformative results of UNFPA.It is also a question of promoting the employability of young people and giving the opportunity to students and young graduates to have first professional experiences as a “trainee” within the UNFPA.

You will be responsible for:

The trainee’s responsibility is to ensure the proper functioning of UNFPA’s room innovation;To support young people who frequent this innovation space and finally to develop with the team of the youth and communication program of innovative ideas
In a specific way the innovation trainee will be responsible for:

Support for reflection on innovation aspects in the youth program;
Support for the proper functioning of innovation room in partnership with the communication team: attendance, management tools, support for young people;
Support for the development of media communication strategy and on social networks;
Support and support for young people to develop innovation projects within the Room innovation;
Support for monitoring the realization of the action plan on innovation with Orange Madagascar;
Offer draft action plans and activity reports
Miscellaneous: execute any other task at the request of the representative, the assistant representative or his supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

Formation:

The candidates must, at the time of the candidacy, meet one of the following requirements:

Be registered with a undergraduate program (such as an equivalent license or diploma), in particular IT, technology, innovation, communication, or any other related field, and having completed a full academic year;
Be registered with a second university program (such as a master’s degree or a higher level program) in the fields of IT, technology, innovation, communication or any other relevant field;
Have recently obtained a university degree as defined above and, in the event of a selection, start the internship in the year following the graduation;Or
Be registered with a professional postuniversity training program in a field such as IT, technology, innovation, communication or a related field, and carry out the internship as part of this program.

Knowledge and experience:

Knowledge and experience in the design and development of digital solutions for development;
Operational knowledge of office consequences (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) as well as the use of emails;
Good knowledge of Google infrastructure and applications;
Knowledge of the United Nations system;
Demonstrate an interest in the development field;
Show adaptation to new environments and aptitude to establish and maintain good labor relations with people from various cultural backgrounds.

LANGUAGES:

A good mastery of the French language.
Knowledge/mastery of other United Nations languages, such as English, will be an asset.
