Mission and objectives

Context

This material develops as part of UNICEF’s objective for implementing policies and programs for the prevention of child malnutrition, supporting families with a resource that reinforces the knowledge that is worked in the workshops.

Task Description

We are looking for a volunteer with skills in editorial or graphic design to collaborate in the creation of a healthy recipe book.This material is based on a preliminary document that brings together recipes developed during kitchen workshops organized by a chefs team, within the framework of a project supported by UNICEF.These workshops are aimed at mothers of children in vulnerability, with the aim of teaching them to prepare nutritional and accessible meals.The recipe book includes: a brief introduction on healthy eating and food handling – 24 recipes with its list of ingredients, mode of preparation and complementary nutritional information.The design is expected to follow a chip format, where each recipe is presented individually, with a dynamic, attractive and colorful visual style.Operational framework: – First virtual meeting to unify criteria for the design and description of the task – First delivery in a draft after one weeks – Second Delivery in three weeks – Final delivery after 4 weeks.The volunteer may contact all the times with the office in case of doubts, and new meetings may be agreed in case of needing a closer accompaniment.In case of being necessary, it may be established in terms of review of the materials with reduced deadlines (to be defined with the volunteer at the first virtual meeting).
