SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL(If) is an association of international humanitarian aid which, for more than 40 years, has rescued populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting vital needs, drinking, eating, sheltering.Particularly engaged in the fight against diseases linked to unhealthy water, the leading cause of mortality in the world, if implements by its interventions an expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and the promotion of hygiene but also in that, essential, of food and means of existence.Present in 26 countries, the SI teams – 3,200 people in total made up of expatriates, national employees, permanent staff, some volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment to cultures.

The mission

Since March 2020, if intervening in France to meet the challenges of precarious water, hygiene and sanitation in five French territories.In partnerships with water and sanitation operators of metropolises and their foundations, its projects target audiences living in degraded sites like slums or squats and having in particular limited access to basic services, in terms of drinking water, sanitation, and access to primary health products.SI’s strategy is to support local players in their search for concrete solutions, by proposing to improve the health conditions of the sites, in particular via the installation of drinking water services, sanitation infrastructure and by the development of pilot projects adapted to the context of each area of ​​intervention.

The alternating logistics and financial coordination of the mission France exercises its functions under the managerial authority of the support coordinator and works in collaboration with the administrative and logistical managers of the operational bases of the French territories as well as with all the teams of the France Mission.

General objective:

Discover and master the various financial and logistical monitoring tools of a mission
Understand the operation of a mission comprising 5 operational bases
Understand the relationship between siege, coordination and field bases
Discover the different professions of a mission
To understand project monitoring management in the specific French context

Main activities:

LOGISTICS

Purchase coordination in compliance with SI procedures
Pool purchases of bases in terms of coordination
Monitoring of sustainable equipment and coordination contracts
Management of coordination premises
Computer support
Organization, reservations and monitoring of team trips
Ensure the update, archiving and centralization of logistics documents
Keep up to date the organization chart and the contacts list of the mission

FINANCE

Accounting monitoring of coordination with update of accounting newspapers and archiving accounting documents
Assist the support coordinator in budget monitoring

Description of the post

List of activities:

PURCHASE

– Assist the support coordinator in the study of French markets and the search for suppliers and donors

– Anticipate and group purchases with the preparation and update of the markets table

– Purchase (market study, competition, ECB, reception, invoicing contracts), and make supplier payments in compliance with the PI’s purchase procedures via the Link platform

– Pool purchases of the basics in terms of coordination when this can be relevant

– Make the interface between base and seat for purchases of the bases operated by the si seat (laptops, visibility, pool testers, etc.)

– Follow the transport of goods between intervention zones

– Prepare the right to pay for signing Holders budgets

– Monitoring of coordination contracts

– Management of coordination premises (rent, insurance, maintenance, furniture)

– Participate in the preparation and consolidation of the monthly logistics pack from base logistics packs

– Participate in the compilation of logistical documents during the final reports for fundamental donors

TRANSPORT

– Facilitate the trips of coordination members by ensuring the reservations of trains / planes / hotels.

– Assist the support coordinator in the organization of Inter -Base freight

– Organization, reservations and monitoring of the mission teams between the Metropolis and Mayotte

Equipment and IT

– Ensure the reception of sustainable coordination equipment and update the state of park in real time (code loguer, monitoring of EDs)

– Ensure good maintenance of EDs

– Prepare laptops before award to an employee if coordination (updates, transfer of transfer, import mailings and software)

– Manage IT processes related to the arrival of a new employee if on the mission France (email creation, authorizations and referrals for different software)

– offer computer assistance in the event of problems encountered by an employee if

– Do the interface between base and computer service of the headquarters if necessary

ACCOUNTING

Assist the support coordinator in accounting tasks:

– Check and archive the supporting documents of the coordination base (invoices, contracts, bank statements, etc.)

– Write the accounting newspapers of the Coordination base (individual CB accounts and bank account), check the sales, check the consistency of analytical information and the right allocation of expenses.

– Integration into the accounting software for coordination accounts and make the monthly fence

Financial management

– Assist the support coordinator in budget monitoring (BFU) of projects managed since the coordinating

– Assist the support coordinator in monitoring transversal expenditure of the mission (software, visibility)

– Help preparing financial audits

GENERAL

– Participate in weekly and monthly meetings of the mission logistics and administrative teams

– provide support to all bases according to requests

– keep the organizational chart and the mission contact list

Your profile

Coming from training in humanitarian logistics, accounting and/or financial management, project management, development, international relations, political science
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office-Excel Pack mainly
Very good analysis and writing skills
Good synthetic and prioritization capacities
Proactivity and critical mind
Organisation et anticipation
Relational skills
Ability to work under pressure and autonomy
Interest for the context: access to water on French territory
Commitment to principles and the work of international solidarity
Desired B permit

Post based in Marseille
12 -month work -study learning contract
Remuneration at least legal according to the regulations in force of learning contracts according to the level of study and age
Public transportation supported at 50% by Solidarites International
Restaurant tickets at € 8.90 / Effective day internship, with participation of Solidarites International at 60%
