PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The United Nations Development Programme in Kazakhstan (UNDP), in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is implementing the UNDP-GEF project ” Promotion of sustainable food systems and improved ecosystems services in Northern Kazakhstan Landscape” (hereinafter referred to as the Project), aimed at promoting the large-scale introduction of effective land management technologies and environmental approaches, as well as promoting green value chains for reducing the degradation of productive agricultural lands and associated valuable ecosystems in the landscape of Northern Kazakhstan. The project will test and pilot sustainable approaches and practices of land use and ecosystem management at the landscape level for decision-making at the national and regional levels.

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicateddeadline.

Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.

The UN Development Program in Kazakhstan (UNDD) in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, implements the project of the UNDS-HEF “Promotion of a stable agricultural production system and the preservation of ecosystems of landscape of northern Kazakhstan” (hereinafter referred to as the project), aimed at assisting the large-scale implementation of effective technologies for managing land resources and environmentally security approaches, as well as promoting the promotion”Green” production and sales chains to reduce the degradation of productive agricultural land and associated valuable ecosystems in the landscape of northern Kazakhstan.Within the framework of the project, testing and piloting of sustainable approaches and practices of land use, and ecosystem management at the landscapes level for decision -making at the national and regional levels will be carried out.
