Norwegian Refugee Council is hiring a Technical Assistant / Human Resources Technique to

The purpose of the position of Technical Assistant – Human Resources is to support daily the support service to the NRC offices in the Human Resources area.

General responsibilities:

Ensure adherence with the policies, tools, manuals and guidelines of NRC
Support with the implementation of the portfolio of support functions according to the action plan
Prepare and develop state reports required by management
Ensure the proper file of the documents
Promote and share ideas to strengthen support functions
Ensure proper document completion.

Specific responsibilities:

Enter and update staff information in NRC People, Novasoft and/or Database systems.
Maintain the personnel records such as information changes and personnel database.
Verification and application for induction formats and life tests “Pol”(Proof of Life) For staff files.
Monitor the implementation and development of the Safety and Health Management System at work.
Perform the activities established in the Welfare Plan.
Provide documentation for internal and external audit processes.
Support the elaboration and/or creation of RR.HH. processes and procedures
He attends the socialization of RR.H. policies and respond to Staff applications.
It supports the update and consolidation of the organizational organization charts.
Support the monitoring of performance management processes with human resources coordination.
Prepare monthly RRHH management reports required by the unit.
Guarantee the correct file of the documents.
Promote and share ideas to improve the function of HR.HH.
Supports the elaboration of contracts of contracts.
Responsible for the elaboration of informative material of the Human Resources Unit, for Colombia, Ecuador, Panama.
The other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor in compliance with the objectives of the position.

General Professional Competencies:

Minimum work experience of 1 (one) year in support functions in humanitarian aid contexts.
Previous work experience in complex and changing contexts
Verifiable experience related to the responsibilities of the position
Some knowledge in the English language

Specific skills, knowledge and context experience:

Technician, technologist, student of last semesters or professional recently graduated in human talent management, psychology, business administration and/or related areas.
Some experience in the human resources field, in particular in the operational aspects of recruitment, selection and contracting, social security affiliation, payroll liquidation news, severance, certifications, vacations, basic concepts of labor law, health and safety at work.
Knowledge in Colombian labor norm.
Knowledge of the Colombian Social Security System.
Knowledge Safety and health management system at work.
The previous experience in the use of payroll accounting and MS Office packages is well valued.

Location: Work base according to terms of reference – Bogotá
