Senior Research Assistant (Internal#63/2025)

We are conducting a study aims to investigate the hygiene behavior, pathogen transmission and illness in the households, and the coping and adaptation strategies in water use and hygiene of the low-income community in the context of disaster-induced, rural-urban displacement.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Research Assistant will be reporting to the Associate Scientist and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing research to collect high-quality data and analyses. S/he will visit field sites to collect, organize and manage the quantitative data, analyze and interpret data, assist in writing scientific reports and manuscripts. The areas of responsibilities are given below:

Prepare questionnaire using Qualtrics/Kobo Toolbox/Google forms;
Conduct quantitative surveys;
Enter and clean data using software- Stata, Qualtrics and Google forms;
Manage large scale datasets;
Assist in literature review;
Assist in health economic evaluations;
Prepare analytical result tables, graphs for reports and manuscripts.

Required qualification and experience:

Masters in Health Economics.
Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant fields.
Preference will be given to those who have experience in managing data in Qualtrics.

Contract Type and Duration:

Short Term Contractual Service Agreement basis; duration will be 3 months with the possibility of extension subject to availability of funds and performance.

Salary & benefits:

Tk 47,873/-per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances;
Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b and subsidized canteen; Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
