Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (IICPSD) supports the private sector and foundations to become transformative partners in development through research, advocacy for inclusive business, facilitation of public-private dialogue and brokering partnerships. IICPSD, established in 2011 in partnership with the Government of Türkiye, is one of UNDP”s six Global Policy Centres. It leads UNDP’s global work on private sector and foundations and supports UNDP’s offices all over the world. The Center focuses on four thematic areas:
1. Inclusive Business;
2. Private Sector Engagement in Skills Development;
3. Impact investing;
4. Resilience and Crisis Response.
The Center also hosts four global initiatives: Business Call to Action, SDG Philanthropy Platform, Global Islamic Finance and Impact Investing Platform and Connecting Business Initiative.
As part of our capacity-building efforts, SDG AI Lab is organizing a series of Power BI training sessions aimed at strengthening data visualization and analysis skills among volunteers. These sessions will be delivered by selected online volunteers with experience in Power BI. The goal is to provide practical, hands-on training that equips participants with the skills needed to use Power BI effectively for project reporting, dashboards, and decision-making.
This assignment is part of a broader initiative to increase the use of open and accessible digital tools across our operations. Each online volunteer will be expected to develop their own materials for the trainings and deliver 2 sessions on Power BI.
Facilitate two live online Power BI training sessions (Week 4)
Provide post-training materials such as recordings, slides, and any relevant guides or resources
Support participants with brief Q&A during and after sessions
Duration: 4 weeks total
Week 1–2: Content preparation
Week 3: Revisions based on feedback
Week 4: Conduct 2 training sessions
Expected Outcomes:
Two structured online training sessions delivered
A complete set of training resources developed
Increased understanding of Power BI among participants
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Power BI
Experience in training, mentoring, or teaching is a strong asset
Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Strong communication and time management skills
