Organization Mission

NCT is a developmental organisation working at the grassroots level to create and transform into a better and collaborative society for everyone to live in. We aim at eradication of poverty and improving quality of life for the poor and marginalized in rural and urban slum communities. NCT is a multi-projects organisation working with children, women, youth, disabled and in agriculture. In all our projects, our primary focus is with girl children/women to achieve gender equality

NewBeginnings supports the weakest members of the society: the poor, the marginalized, children, women and the disabled. It is of no importance what religious belief or race they belong to. It is enough, “They are Human Beings” – They too have the right to life and dignity. NCT stands with them to realize it. With you, we march towards for a “Better World”.

We tackle poverty and hunger by empowering unskilled and unemployed youth with employable skills training, creating employment opportunities for rural women helping them to away from starvation; with additional / permanent income resource, families ensure education of their children. We make sure, every participating family should educate their children. Empowering the next generation with skills to earn and live. We focus our energy at the rural and urban slums creating the younger generation become productive sources of India

Since our inseption, NCT promotes international volunteers participation within and with our partners” projects. We began volunteers hosting and coordinating programmes in 2010 and since then, it is a long walk with many committed volunteers.

Context

As a grassroots-level non-profit, we depend on national and international grants to realize our objectives. We look for international corporate foundations whose giving themes/areas align with the mission and objectives of NCT. Your contribution will help us to educate and empower vulnerable children and women from marginalised communities in India. The NCT project team is available via email to provide support or clarification as needed, ensuring full understanding of the assigned role and its impact on improving conditions for women and children in vulnerable communities.

Key Responsibilities

The Online volunteer will be expected to support NewBeginnings Charitable Trust in:
– Research for corporate foundations that provide international funding.
– Identify 25 corporate foundations from any country, focusing on areas related to children, women, and human rights. For each entry, please include the foundation”s name, country, funding focus, and contact information.A pre-designed spreadsheet will be provided for your data entry. On completion of this assignment, Online Volunteers will receive the certificate of appreciation. Recommendation letters from NCT shall be provided to volunteers upon their request.Online Volunteers will not be requested to make donations in-kind, financial contributions or solicit donations from third parties.
