About the team you are joining

IATA Corporate services (CS) encompass Corporate Finance, Treasury and Tax, FP&A, Global Finance Operations, Corporate Risk and Compliance, Corporate Administration and Procurement activities.

Join our Corporate Services division to help build the next generation Finance organization for IATA. The ambition that we have set ourselves as a division is to “Be the trusted proactive partner, providing data-driven and AI- enabled corporate services for the business, while upholding the highest fiduciary standards.”

The Senior Manager, Finance Business Process is responsible for leading the business process improvement and automation at Global Finance Operations Team.  This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director, Global Finance Operations.

What your day would be like

The Senior Manager, Finance Business Process will play a pivotal role in aligning global finance operations business process initiatives and automation with Corporate Services’ strategic objectives.

In this role, you will lead the development and growth of a new business process practice, driving the following key activities:

• Lead the governance, scaling and performance of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) across the division in close collaboration with the Information & Data (I&D) department to design and deploy bots to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Champion the use of Artificial Intelligence across global finance operations in partner with data science team to develop and deploy AI models to transform operations, enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation through digital transformation by leading the adoption of intelligent automation, AI driven insights and process optimization initiatives across global finance operations in close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.
• Support the new Global Finance Operations Director in driving consistency across regions.
• Support the ERP transformation initiative (BORA) by ensuring that business process requirements are accurately captured and reflected in the system’s technical architecture (where applicable).

We would love to hear from you if

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance operations, business process improvement, or financial systems transformation.
• Graduated as a Chartered Accountant or University degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Proven experience in leading automation initiatives, including RPA, AI and other digital transformation projects.
• Demonstrated success in change management, process optimization, and implementing continuous improvement frameworks.
• Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Power Automate, a tech- savvy mindset and knowledge in Python is an added advantage but not a must.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for innovation.
• Fluent in English
