JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Development Manager

Salary $111,826 – 139,000

Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to local labor market conditions, educational background, work experience, and relevant certifications

Job Type: Full-Time Fixed term

Location: IB (International Baccalaureate®) Washington DC

Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Work with influential colleges, universities and other higher educational entities in the designated territory, to increase recognition and support for IB programs
Contribute to and help implement the global and regional strategy for higher education recognition
Meet with all large school districts in the territory every year, either in person or electronically·
Promote expansion of the number of IB programs in these districts·
Promote the increase in the number of students taking DP or CP exams·
Promote the participation in MYP E-assessment
Work with state and provincial departments of education to promote the adoption of legislation and policy that supports.
Contribute to and help implement the global and regional strategy for government education recognition
Contribute and participate in developing and delivering regional development strategy.
Work with team members to disseminate best practice in the areas of business development and advocacy·
Work with colleagues in other global centres to identify and implement best practices.
At the direction of the Head of Development, perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

Job Requirements:

About You

Master’s Degree in Education and/or Business
Experience in business development – proven revenue generator
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of US education market
Understanding of IB and all four IB programmes or a willingness to learn about them
Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Sales Force, Microsoft Office and presentation software
Willingness to undertake extensive travel
Ability to work independently or as part of a dedicated team
French or Spanish language proficiency desirable
