Organization Mission

Since 3rd November, 2011, ASCOA has been dedicated to improving the awareness of the local community on HIV/AIDS and its related stigma, promoting peace building in the society, fostering environmental protection and the fight against climate change, supporting children, and empowering women and girls in order to improve their socio-economic participation and boost their wellbeing. We envision a world free of HIV/AIDS, where people are neither stigmatized nor discriminated upon due to their HIV status; a world where women are empowered and children are protected; a world where peace reigns and people live in an environment free of pollution and global warming.

Context

At ASCOA, we wish to further our partnership on environmental and Partnership Development.
Our research programs will add a level to our mission of contributing to the environment and advancement of partnerships to conserve and maintain healthy oceans, coastlines, lands, and the atmosphere for both people and nature.

Key Responsibilities

The Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA) is seeking 10 motivated Online Volunteers with experience in environmental research to support our efforts in building partnerships with environmental organizations worldwide.
The volunteers will:- Conduct targeted research to identify potential environmental organizations for partnership.
– Focus on NGOs, nonprofits, academic institutions, and community groups aligned with ASCOA’s mission.
– Analyze each organization’s environmental focus, geographical reach, and potential for collaboration.
– Compile well-structured reports or databases containing contact information, background, and partnership potential.
– Suggest strategic entry points for ASCOA to engage with these organizations (e.g., joint projects, co-hosted events, shared goals).

Required Skills and Experience

The candidate has to:
• have strong experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research
• have preferably a PhD degree and/or at least 5 years of experience in Research and partnership, i
• have previously experience on non-profit
