Exciting role to support the Senior Secondary Education Improvement Project in the Solomon Islands.
DT Global is seeking for qualified experts and potential partners for the Senior Secondary Education Improvement Project, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
This transformative initiative aims to enhance the quality and relevance of senior secondary education (Years 10–12) in the Solomon Islands. The project will achieve this by reforming the curriculum to make learning more practical and aligned with foundational skills required for lifelong learning and future employment. A key focus will be on resilience-oriented skills and job creation.
Key role
Climate Change and Disaster Resilience Curriculum Specialist (national)
· Advanced degree in climate change, disaster risk reduction, environmental sustainability, or a related field.
· At least 8 years of general experience in climate change education, disaster risk reduction, and environmental sustainability.
· Experience working within the national curriculum development and teacher training sector
· Knowledge of national policies and frameworks on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in education.
