The “Sino-German-Cooperation on Climate Change” (SGCCC) acts as a platform for exchange on NDC implementation and climate governance between the Chinese and German national climate departments. At the national level, it supports the policy dialogue and enhances the exchange of experiences and best practices. At the local level, activities contribute to the enhanced implementation of climate policies (mitigation, adaptation, finance) and measures in China’s 14th Five-Year Plan. GIZ implements the project as part of Germany’s International Climate Initiative (IKI) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) and the Federal Foreign Office.

We pay a monthly stipend of €2.205,04 (gross). Depending on the country of assignment a monthly expatriation allowance (gross), predetermined by GIZ will be paid on top.
