Main purpose of the role:
Providing security guarding service to ensure the safety and security of Embassy staff members, visitors, customers and contractors as well as protecting all properties within Embassy/Residence premises. Remaining alert and vigilant and pro-actively responding to incidents and emergencies in accordance the established security instructions and procedures.
The British Embassy Vilnius is a professional, friendly and inclusive team, which supports the development and wellbeing of all its staff members. This role would suite a proactive, team player, preferably, with experience of working in a security role.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, 12h shift pattern (including night shifts, weekends and public holidays), permanent contract, S1 grade position.
The start date for the position is as soon as possible, subject to the availability of the candidate and the length of the recruitment process.

Visa/work permit requirements: Candidates must currently hold the independent right to live and work in Lithuania and be prepared to ensure that right remains throughout the scope of the contract.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you meet the legal requirements to live and work in this country. Permits to live and work in Lithuania should be obtained prior to the employment.
On the interview stage setting, besides the interviews, a practical assessment might be conducted.
