DATA AND SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION: Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán, HONDURAS

FUNCTION
Design, develop, manage, and safeguard the information systems and databases that support Heifer’s Learning, Monitoring, and Adapting (LMA) model, ensuring the operation, scalability, and security of platforms (CROP, IPMS, and others) and the availability of quality data for decision-makers and smallholder households under the new Locally Led Sustainable Development (LLSD) approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the availability of hardware and software for the monitoring, tracking, and evaluation of HEIFER Honduras programs and projects.
Maintain an updated reporting system with historical and current quantitative and qualitative information.
Follow up on ideas and proposals for the continuous improvement of monitoring and evaluation systems.
Ensure the correct implementation of field processes for capturing and safeguarding information.
REQUIREMENTS
Academic Training: Professional graduate in Administrative Computing or Systems Engineering or similar, preferably with verifiable experience in development projects (development portfolio).
General Experience: At least two (02) years of work experience in database development and administration (SQL Serve/PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Specific Experience:
Experience in ETL, automation and API management.
Development of digital data collection instruments (XLSForm, SurveyCTO or others).
Experience in advanced handling of Excel, Power Query, Power BI, MS Access, Tableau, R, Stata, SPSS.
Programming experience in Drupal, PHP and Pentaho (intermediate/advanced level).
Experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries (INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN, subqueries, aggregations).
Experience in database modeling and administration (schematization, normalization, installation, backup and recovery).
Experience in administration and configuration of Monitoring and Evaluation systems (users, permissions, roles, processes).
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and conflict resolution.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection.
Availability for travel within the country.
