Job Description:

Purpose of the position:

This role is responsible for designing engaging, high-impact digital content and visual assets that support World Vision Bangladesh’s external communications, digital campaigns, and brand positioning. Working under the Digital Engagement and Campaigns team, the Designer brings stories to life through compelling graphic design, animations, motion graphics, and branded digital assets to increase visibility, supporter engagement, and fundraising effectiveness.

The position is accountable for the following:

  • Design and deliver compelling trendy digital content, animations, and graphics to support strategic campaigns, social media engagement, and brand visibility for World Vision Bangladesh.
  • Lead the development of creative visual assets for digital storytelling, thematic campaigns, and public engagement initiatives across platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Manager – External Brand and Communications to produce high-quality communication materials, ensuring alignment with global and national brand guidelines.
  • Support the development, editing, and packaging of video contents, animated stories, and branded content for fundraising, advocacy, corporate and donor communications.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams and field staff to create contextually relevant design products, templates, and visual content for use in national and grassroots-level communications.
  • Manage and regularly update visual content on internal platforms (such as the World Vision storyhub, website), ensuring timely sharing of branding materials and communication products.
  • Stay current with global trends in digital design and motion graphics to introduce innovative content formats and improve storytelling impact.
  • Contribute to building the visual design capacity of the communications team and field-based staff through knowledge sharing and informal coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic and Visual Content Development:

  • Design campaign specific visual content, including social media assets, posters, digital brochures, infographics, and newsletters.
  • Ensure content aligns with global brand guidelines.
  • Support digital storytelling with high impact visuals.

Motion Graphics and Animation:

  • Create short form animations, GIFs, reels, and visual explainers for web and social channels.
  • Support development of animated sequences for campaign videos.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and Video Editor on brand aligned multimedia deliverables.

Brand Collateral Design:

  • Design merchandise, display banners, event branding, and outreach materials.
  • Develop branded templates for cross team usage

Digital Asset Management and Innovation:

  • Maintain a library of editable and brand aligned graphic templates.
  • Explore and implement new trends in digital and motion design to elevate storytelling.

Capacity Building and Collaboration:

  • Support training and mentoring of junior designers or field staff on design tools and visual standards.
  • Collaborate with content writers, video editors, and campaign managers.

Required Education: Graduation in any relevant field Essential Master’s degree

Required Professional Experience:

  • Must be sound in Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and animation
  • Powerful Visual Storytelling, Creative and Innovative content design within deadline
  • Excellent Multimedia skills including software (Microsoft Office Suite, Bangla typing, adobe, illustrator, video editing software)
  • Strong photography and video documentation skills including capturing, editing etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and organizational skills
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with online promotion
  • Development and media interest
  • Technical knowledge in Printing and Materials

Required travel and/or work environment accommodations: Travel must be required as per need and necessity.

Salary: BDT 50,000 – 55,000 (monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits: Weekly 2 holidays, Provident fund, Gratuity, Festival Bonus: 1, Other benifits as per organizations policy.
