JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Marketing and Budget Analyst will make a significant impact by leading the reporting and analysis of global marketing and fundraising budgets to drive the revenue needed for achieving World Vision’s global strategy, Our Promise. This includes:
- Facilitating budget allocation for Global Marketing, Communications, & Sponsorship (GMCS) operating and strategic budgets of $20M+ and 100+ staff.
- Aggregating and analysing operating performance versus budget throughout the year, and facilitating agile reallocation of budget to enable GMCS to achieve its priorities.
- Calculating the return on investment of key initiatives and projects.
- Designing & reporting capability assessments in support of GMCS strategy
This analysis and reporting is used by senior management in decisions for budget and operational planning to deliver the necessary revenue to achieve Our Promise.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate and support the budgeting and re-forecast process for GMCS. Identify and implement process improvements so there is consistent visibility and a process for all budget owners.
- Manage consolidation, reporting, and analysis of GMCS operating and strategic marketing expenditures versus budget. Lead analysis of performance and return on investment in global strategic marketing initiatives. Identify and implement process and technology improvements to convert manual data consolidation into automated approaches.
- Train, equip, and support GMCS budget owners so that they have a clear understanding of their budget status and their ability to reallocate budget with agility throughout the year.
- Lead recurring reporting and analysis of results for the Community of Practices’ capability assessments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics and budget management
- Experience with data consolidation and warehousing
- Experience with SharePoint
- Advanced Microsoft Power BI and Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to present complex marketing or budget analysis in a simple, clear way to drive leadership action

- Ability to work and communicate effectively in English
