Org. Setting and Reporting This internship position with the Arabic Verbatim reporting Section, Meetings and Publishing Division, Department for General Assembly and Conference Management is for two (2) months, with a possibility of extension, subject to the needs of the Department. The internship is UNPAID and full-time. Interns work five days per week (40hours) under the supervision of the Chief of the Verbatim Reporting Section/Service or the internship supervisor, as appropriate. Candidates are encouraged to highlight their specific skills and/or experience in their application. This internship will be discharged remotely. Responsibilities Interns will be responsible for the following duties: (a) translating into Arabic, which must be the candidate’s main language, verbatim records of meetings from English for training and other purposes and subject to review; (b) transcribing or reviewing Arabic transcriptions; (c) assist with testing of technologies, including speech-to-text; (d) performing other related duties as required.
