Key Responsibilities
Category B Consultants: Tangible and measurable outputs of the work assignment
- Deliverable 1: Initial Stakeholder Consultations and workshop with DWG members, submitted by 10 December 2025.
- Deliverable 2: Inception report, submitted by 26 January 2026.
- Deliverable 3: Workshop to present the first draft of the methodology, submitted by 15 June 2026.
- Deliverable 4: Final version of the methodology on migration data, submitted by 1 October 2026
- Deliverable 5: Validation workshop, submitted by 10 October 2026.
- Deliverable 6: Final consultancy report, submitted by 16 October 2026.
Performance indicators for the evaluation of results
Delivers the listed deliverables on time and with good quality.
Required Qualifications
Education
- University degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, sociology or a related field.
Experience
- Previous working experience in the collection, compilation, analysis and dissemination of development migration data and statistics or related areas is required.
- Experience in methodological work on statistics is required.
- Good knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals is desirable.
- Good knowledge of the strategies and practices in the field of statistics and migration is desirable.
- Experience on developing methodological documents and in drafting documents aligned with international standards will be an asset.
- Experience in cooperating with various stakeholders, including international organizations is desirable.
- Experience in applying gender-sensitive approaches in data collection, analysis and policy development is desirable.

Skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities is desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online collaboration tools is desirable.
Languages
- Fluency in Georgian and English is required.
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
