Job Description:

Major Responsibilities

  • The work plan in place which aligns with strategic priorities and priority areas identified by Project
  • Implementing the project activities include establishing and rehabilitating Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS), equipping learning spaces, providing individual learning kits, promoting holistic development through clubs—play clubs, reading clubs, life skills, in targeted areas by the guidance of supervisor—with the technical support of project coordinator and monitoring & evaluation officer
  • Selecting the community-based educators and facilitators to build capacity for the community-based learning delivery
  • Collect data on the activity implementation by collaboration of M&E officer, community-based educators and facilitators
  • Regular submission of implementation report on time
  • Respond community feedback and complaint with the support of project team
  • Carry out or engage task with good judgement and responsibly.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments proactively
  • By actively participating with manager in producing a relevant and jointly agreed development plan
  • The plan will identify key areas which will assist in personal and professional development consistent with World Vision’s strategic goals
  • By demonstrating an understanding of and commitment to World Vision’s Core Values in the approach to work and relationships

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

  • Any bachelor”s degree is essential
  • Work experience in education would be an advantage
  • Extensive experience of training, presenting and facilitating education issues and child related issues
  • Experience of working within an INGO/NGO/CSO environment preferred
  • Good in English is preferred
  • Experience in emergency response situation is preferred
  • Regular field visit to targeted area is essential
  • Good knowledge of International HEA Standards such as CHS is preferred
  • Able to work under pressure to deadlines and prioritize work effectively
  • Knowledge on establishing and rehabilitating Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS)
  • Organize training plan and conduct/facilitation trainings
  • Team player is essential
  • Well knowledge in education background is essential
  • Computer skill (MS Word, Excel) both in English and Myanmar
