Job Description:
Job-Purpose
Counsellor will conduct counselling and life skills sessions for street working children and their families at the street working children enrichment centre & if need at home. She will conduct advocacy meeting /training for community leaders, teachers & stakeholder.
Any other duties assigned by Project Manager.
Participate in quality improvement and performance management activities to ensure the highest standards of care.

Collaborative Relationship with Street Working Children
Work closely with them, providing counseling, guidance, and support to address their emotional, psychological, and social needs. The counselor builds rapport, actively listens, and creates a safe space for children to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Through this relationship, the counselor helps children develop coping strategies, resilience, and positive self-esteem.

Partnership with Multidisciplinary Team
The counselor collaborates with a multidisciplinary team consisting of social workers, educators, and other professionals involved in the Street Working Children Enrichment Center. They work together to develop an integrated and comprehensive approach to meet the needs of street-working children. The counselor actively participates in team meetings, case conferences, and regular communication to share observations, insights, and progress related to the children”s mental health and well-being. They contribute to the development and implementation of individualized plans and interventions, ensuring a holistic support system for the children.
