Job Description:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Effective Case Management that is in line with the inter-agency guidelines and practices
- Implement the full process of case management from identification, assessment, case planning, monitoring and follow up and close closure
- Conduct home visits to the girls, boys and their households in the caseloads for understanding their current situation and make proper support
- Document, regularly update and maintain proper filing of all case management forms and support data entry of the cases
- Work with public service providers (health, education, etc.) in the communities to ensure children and families can access available services
- Involve and support in mapping of community resources and available services
- Support community mobilization to increase understanding of children”s needs and encourage community members to report child protection concerns
- Support service delivery and referrals to address the immediate needs of the at-risk children

- Take immediate action on urgent cases and seek support from the supervisor and/or Project Manager to address challenges in the case management process
- In collaboration with the Project Manager and other Project staff, with the support of the PM and CP Specialist for the linkage among child protection incidents reporting, rights violations issues and case management under specific issues
- Collaborate with PM and other project staff for analyzing case information and sharing trends and patterns to improve program response and for advocacy
Obtain trainings and able to deliver that knowledge to community members including volunteers in order to improve the protective environment for girls and boys
- Obtained the training especially CM and Psychosocial Support from Project Manager, CP Specialist, and other technical experts accordingly
- Provide relevant training to the targeted community.
- To oversee and ensure the quality of awareness activities and training conducted by CCPPs.
Nurture good coordination mechanism with other child protection focused organization, CP AoR and initiate proactive advocacy activities to make policy/ guideline favorable for the vulnerable groups and beneficiaries
- Regularly participate in CM coordination meetings with formal and informal CP stakeholders in target villages
- Attend case management meeting and case conference to review and discuss cases, progresses and challenges with Project Manager and/or CP Specialist
- Attend individual coaching and supervision meetings with supervisor and develop skills in implementing quality case management
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and ensure child safeguarding concerns are reported and followed up
- Submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports on time
- Document and share project activities, results, best practices and lessons learned
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Minimum 1 year’s working experience in CP sector in conflict/humanitarian settings preferably having Case Management knowledge and experience.
- Experience working with children in conflict/humanitarian settings and cluster engagement
- Experience working in strengthening community structures, preferably in conflict/humanitarian settings
- Received training on CP case management is a plus on child rights and child protection
- Knowledge of Child Protection in Humanitarian Action programming especially in case management
- Ability to communicate and interact with children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Good computer skills (word, excel) Knowledge and understanding on international Child Protection and national legal framework
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably social science or law or human rights related subjects)
