Job Description:
Major Responsibilities
Improved program outcomes and accountability through regular evaluations and adjustments Reduced risk of non-compliance and improved donor confidence
- Lead and supervise the grants projects team
- Oversee multi-sectoral program implementation
- Monitor project progress and ensure quality assurance
- Support strategic planning and operational decision-making to the grants projects team
- Ensure compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies
Optimal resource utilization and cost-effective operations
- Manage resources (human, financial, and material)
- Facilitate capacity building and training for staff
- Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Strengthened partnerships and coordinated emergency responses
- Coordinate with support staff of MER team for technical assistance to grants project team
- Coordinate with local partner teams and stakeholders
- Report to the Operations Manager and contribute to strategic reviews
- Carry out or engage task with good judgement and responsibly.
- Perform additional duties and assignments proactively
- By actively participating with manager in producing a relevant and jointly agreed development plan
- The plan will identify key areas which will assist in personal and professional development consistent with World Vision’s strategic goals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is essential
- Master’s degree in project management is preferable
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience with humanitarian response in replacement-related and early recovery contexts is preferred
- Experience in working with other organizations such as UN agencies, INGOs, by taking the managerial role of related area is advantage
- Ability to lead and foster a high-performance team culture, promoting integrity, trust, and employee engagement is essential
- Skills in coaching and mentoring diverse teams, respecting gender, age, religious, and ethnic diversity is preferable
- Good command of Myanmar & English is essential

- Experience in emergency response situation is preferred
- Good health condition, ability to work under stressful situations is preferred
- Good knowledge of International HEA Standards such as CHS
- Excellent planning and organizing skills are essential
- Computer literate and higher competency in information management, sourcing and data analyzing is essential
- Excellent knowledge of local context and organizational culture is highly essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good judgment and knowledge of media ethics is preferred
- Good knowledge of Myanmar Child Law, Laboure Law, United Nations CRC, industry codes of conduct (Red Cross and Red Crescent Code of Conduct, People in Aid) and performance standards (Sphere)
- Able to work under pressure to deadlines and prioritize work effectively
