WHO Collaborating Centres (CCs) are key Member State (MS) institutions that have expertise relevant and essential to WHO’s work. They are distributed globally and represent a tremendous asset for WHO, strengthening Member States’ health capacity to support health and well-being development. The fundamental logic is to utilize the inherent expertise in a WHO CC for the benefit of all Member States and their populations, leaving no one behind.

We are seeking to engage Online Volunteer that aims to inform external audience (especially MS) of the work and impact of the WHO CCs (and their networks), provides a platform to the work of the WHO CCs (internally and externally), including announcing new designations and sharing best practices in implementation of EPW.
Proven experience in communications or a related field and preferably with public health knowledge.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in managing social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Twitter.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Excellent communication skills together with strong organizational and planning skills.
A degree in journalism, communications, public health, or a related field is considered an asset.
