ABOUT YOU
We are hiring a highly motivated individual to join the Allied Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC) as Staff Assistant (Course Manager).
In this role, you will be responsible for the JSEC training course management. You will provide support in the preparation and conduct of Individual and Team Training measures as well as in the preparation, conduct and post-processing of conferences, meetings and other events. You will regularly utilize JSEC related e-learning tools, act as POC for the NATO School and coordinator for the NCI academy. You will develop, maintain and further develop the e-learning solutions for JSEC, e.g. an e-learning solution for Newcomer Inductions Trainings. Your work plays a key role in successfully contributing the ETEE efforts and your successful performance has a crucial impact on implementing the ETEE program objectives. You will serve as Branch Admin and conduct a wide range of administrative duties. You will fill-in/assist the Staff Officer TREX Budget with regard to the management of Education, Training, Exercise and Evaluation (ETEE) budget.

YOUR TEAM
Headquarters JSEC provides a resilient operational-level Joint Headquarters, capable of supporting 24/7 operations to coordinate enablement (at the operational level) and, on order, the execution of reinforcement by forces (RbyFo) and sustainment flow in order to contribute to the Alliance’s ability to project and sustain combat power into a Joint Operations Area (JOA).
The Plans Directorate (PLANS) prepares and manages the development of functional planning based on the guidance received by the Commander, the assessments provided by the Operations Directorate and the liaison activities, contributing to strategic and operational level planning. The J7 Division is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the HQ ETEE, as well as contributing to NATO ETEE, based on the Global Programming and the NATO Force Training Model requirements. The Training Branch is responsible for providing the Education and Individual Training (E&IT) required by the HQ and informs and contributes to NATO E&IT

CONTRACT
Serving civilian members of NATO will be offered a contract in accordance with the NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations.
Newly recruited staff will be initially offered a definite duration contract of three years. Thereafter, an indefinite duration contract might be offered.
