What we are looking for
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic Area Programme Manager (APM) Myanmar.
More About the Role.
The Area Programme Manager (APM) is responsible for implementing integrated programmes and represent NRC at coordination forums, as delegated from Area Manager as well as programming and advocacy in Rakhine State and ensuring that NRC and its partners achieve its programmatic objectives. As such, s/he is responsible for overseeing project implementation in Rakhine State, and for taking a leading role in developing strategy and programme development for the Country Office.
The APM is line managed by the Area Manager and is a member of the Area Management Team (AMT) and part of the extended Country Management Group. In addition, the APM has a technical (dotted) reporting line to the Head of Programme (HoP)and is a member of the Country Office (CO) Programme Unit (PU).

What we offer
Duty station: Sittwe. Rakhine State, Myanmar
Contract: 12 months, renewal subject to funding and performance
Travel: 30% – Travels to project sites and Yangon for coordination
Salary/benefits: Grade 9 on NRC’s Myanmar, salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
