The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, resilient, and dynamic professional to take up the role of Protection from Violence (PfV) Project Manager. The purpose of the role is to ensure quality programming and coordination for NRC Ukraine PfV programme in South area. Furthermore, the holder of the role will be responsible for mentoring, training, and capacity building of staff on the technical issues related to PfV.

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has been working in Ukraine since 2014. Following the escalation of the conflict in February 2022, NRC rapidly scaled up its operations across Ukraine and neighboring countries. NRC’s humanitarian response in east of Ukraine is focused on an integrated approach that combines its programming expertise (Core Competencies) of Shelter and WASH, Livelihoods and Food Security (LFS), Education in Emergencies (EiE), Protection from Violence (PfV), and Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA). NRC works both through direct implementation and alongside implementing partners. NRC and its partners are currently working in all eastern oblasts, through the East Area Office in Dnipro and field offices in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia.
