SCOPE OF WORK: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) works in the United States to welcome newly arrived refugees and immigrants, support them in their resettlement, and provide holistic services to help them build new lives in their communities.
Documented.Info is a collaborative project between Documented, a nonprofit newsroom, and the IRC, designed to connect users with essential services and serve immigrant communities in NYC by providing accessible, accurate, and up-to-date information in multiple languages.
The Digital Community Engagement Intern will assist with digital outreach, service mapping, content creation, and platform maintenance. This internship offers a hands-on, immersive experience in community-centered digital service delivery and communications ideal for students and recent graduates passionate about immigrant rights, journalism, or public service. You will be working in a joint capacity with Documented & IRC teams.
