EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Household and family vulnerability levels in Uganda expose children to high risks of malnutrition, homelessness and severe impoverishment. Such households cannot provide basic needs to family members and the children, such as education, proper shelter or even feed their children. These families therefore thrive in destitute and insolvent circumstances.

Role Overview:
As a Design Volunteer, you will be responsible for creating eye-catching designs that bring our messages to life. From social media adverts to short publications, your creativity will help us communicate our work effectively and inspire the community.
Key Responsibilities:
•Design graphics for social media posts, flyers, posters, and other promotional materials.
•Create visually appealing layouts for short publications and newsletters.
•Support the development of branding materials to maintain consistency across all platforms.
•Collaborate with the team to design materials that align with our messaging and goals.
A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, with at least 1 year of demonstrable experience in creating content for digital and social media campaigns.
Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva.
A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing previous work, especially in social media campaigns, infographics, and branding.
Excellent creative and conceptual skills, with a keen eye for detail, typography, and color theory.
Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear and engaging visual narratives.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and incorporate feedback collaboratively.
Must have own computer, reliable access to the internet, and necessary design software.
