JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
MIA has requested IOM to develop a communication guideline document and the delivery of a training programme for GIM personnel on beneficiary-oriented communication for the inclusion of persons with disabilities. This initiative will contribute to the increase of skills of GIM’s employees to communicate efficiently with beneficiaries when performing their demanding tasks and provide for the overall effectiveness of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks to be performed under this contract
A. Develop and submit to IOM PXD:
- Training session Curriculum, PowerPoint Presentation(s) and supporting materials for a half-day Disability Inclusion and communication training (4 full hours)
- Training Agenda (for 2 training sessions within a half-day training)
- Pre – and Post – training evaluation questionnaires
B. Deliver 5 half-day trainings on Disability Inclusion and communication and provision of participants lists and completed pre-/post- evaluation questionnaires for each training, with disaggregation by sex, age, location, the length of work within the GIM / police bodies
C. Produce the Report on the performed activities (in English), according to template and guidelines provided by IOM, including the results of pre-/post- training evaluation questionnaires disaggregation by sex, age, location, the length of work within the GIM / police bodies.

Required Qualifications
Education
At least 5 years of practical experience in working in the disability inclusion and the rights of persons with disabilities;
Experience
Proven experience in development of training materials and delivery of trainings in the area of disability inclusion and the rights of persons with disabilities.
Skills
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Languages
- Fluency in Romanian and Intermediate in English.
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
Travel required
- Yes: one Cahul and two to Balti municipalities
