JOB DESCRIPTION

A. Project Coordination and Management

• Develop and manage detailed implementation work plans, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

• Facilitate and supervise the implementation of sustainable home gardening and horticulture farming activities in collaboration with FCPs, Alliance Partners (ECHO, Partners Worldwide), and CFT.

• Facilitate regular planning and review meetings with stakeholders including FCPs, lead farmers, Alliance Partners, and CFT.

• Uphold and advocate for child protection in all ministry activities, aligning with Christ’s mandate and Compassion’s Code of Conduct, and promptly reports any concerns of abuse or neglect.

• Be accountable for supporting, upholding, and engaging in Compassion”s core “Cultural Behaviors” in all internal and external communication and relationships.

B. Technical Assistance and Capacity Building

• Coordinate and collaborate with Alliance Partners to develop and adapt training materials on climate-resilient horticulture, home gardening, and business/value-based practices.

• Coordinate with Alliance Partners to plan and deliver training for lead farmers and FCP staff on home gardening, horticulture farming, and business/value-based approaches.

• Support the lead farmers for establishment and management of 13 horticulture demonstration farms.

• Assist FCP staff and lead farmers in planning and delivering home-gardening cascading training for 410 caregivers.

• Provide home-gardening and demo farm inputs to lead farmers and participating households.

• Provide technical support and follow-up to FCP staff and lead farmers for caregiver-led home garden establishment and management.

• Conduct ongoing on-farm technical coaching and field support visits to FCP staff, lead farmers, and participating households on demonstration farms, home gardening, and market linkages.

C. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning

• Coordinate closely with MERL Specialist and Alliance Partners to conduct project assessments (community assessment & local market analysis, project baseline and endline assessments)

• Collaborate with MERL Specialist and Alliance Partners to develop the project M&E framework and train the FCPs and lead farmers to use these tools.

• Track project performance metrics and ensure accurate data collection through employing the project M&E tools and system.

• Analyze and validate progress data to inform decision-making and adaptive programming.

• Document success stories, lessons learned, and promising practices for scaling.

D. Budgeting, Administration, and Reporting

• Support project budgeting, procurement planning, and expenditure tracking.

• Monitor budget utilization and proactively report on variances and financial challenges.

• Prepare and submit interim technical reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in alignment with approved templates and donor requirements.

• Ensure all project documentation including from partners (e.g., FCPs) is timely, accurate, and compliant with reporting standards.

• Review and verify all partner expenditure documentation to ensure compliance with the approved procedures and requirements.

E. Stakeholder Engagement and Market Linkages

• Maintain regular coordination with Alliance Partners, FCPs, lead farmers, and CFT for joint planning and delivery.

• Facilitate market linkages and community-level business development opportunities.

• Represent Compassion Cambodia in technical meetings, forums, and coordination platforms as needed.
