Enable continuous access to education for children, youth, and teachers around the world and drive improved learning outcomes through high-quality, portable education to support their entry into other education or opportunity pathways, including formal education
UNICEF and the Learning Passport team works to provide uninterrupted education for every child affected by crisis – especially girls, children with disabilities, internally displaced children, refugees and migrants.
We help children develop skills to cope with the trauma of crisis, and supply them with learning spaces that are safe, child-friendly and equipped with water and sanitation facilities. Our work builds capacity by training teachers, supplying learning materials and supporting Governments to reduce the risk of disaster.
This assignment involves developing digital learning materials and resources to support parents and education including education in emergencies. Volunteers will contribute to designing content aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences.
Volunteers will have access to relevant resources and materials design courses for the Learning Passport platform.
We are looking for 1 online volunteer to support the Learning Passport initiative. The volunteer will be asked to:
– Review existing 10 courses and provide feedback on length based on best practices that will be shared by the Learning Passport Team
– Develop a 5 pages report on how to improve
The volunteer will collaborate closely with the Learning Passport team and gain insights into how UNICEF’s digital learning platform addresses learning poverty by supporting children and youth globally.
Professional experience in instructional design and education or communication.
Expertise in designing engaging learning materials.
Strong written communication skills in English and French. Spanish or Arabic is a plus
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in creating educational content or teaching resources.
Strong writing and editing skills in English and French.
Familiarity with digital learning platforms is a plus.
