JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Country Office Logistics Coordinators, Area Managers, and Area Office Logistics Personals to ensure timely and efficient process of the supplier pre-qualification at the country and area offices.
The specific objectives of the mission are:
- Provide response for clarification questions to be raised by potential vendors,
- Facilitate the issuance of and collection of the Call for Interest (CFI) document at the country Office,
- Facilitate the opening of envelopes and preparation of the opening minutes,
- Organizing and archiving of the hardcopy and softcopy documents,
- Prepare specific evaluation criteria for every category of goods/services/work for which a prequalified supplier list will be maintained, and due diligence will be carried out. The general evaluation framework established by the main committee in the pre-bidding minute of the Call for Interest for Supplier Prequalification will serve as the basis for the preparation of the evaluation criteria.
- Conduct due diligence process together with the committee member to be established,
- Provide the area office staff remote technical support and direction so they can concurrently work on the prequalification for their respective AO.

- Experience of working as a logistics coordinator/manager in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Previous experience from working under pressure in emergency contexts
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Ability to follow policies and procedures and work systematically
- Able to use policies and procedures to solve problems, and be proactive in bringing ideas and solutions
- Able to maintain good relations with colleagues and suppliers, even in difficult circumstances, always maintaining professionalism when representing NRC
- Able to work in a team, motivate others, and participate actively in team meetings and discussions

- Able to analyze information, prioritize and take decisions and responsibility for those decisions
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- Dynamic, energetic, and committed to NRCs work in Ethiopia

- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management or related.
- 5 years’ experience in a coordinator position preferably with NGOs
