MRI Radiographer (Maternity Cover)
Bristol Hospital | Radiology | Fixed Term Contract | Full Time
Up to £42,500 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

Join our expert Radiology team at Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital – The Chesterfield, as a Senior MRI Radiographer and play a vital role in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services. With access to state-of-the-art MRI technology and a supportive multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide compassionate, patient-centred care while advancing your clinical expertise.

Main Duties of the Role

• Deliver high-quality MRI imaging services across a varied caseload, including outpatient, inpatient, and theatre work.
• Treat every patient as an individual, offering empathy, reassurance, and professionalism throughout their imaging journey.
• Operate advanced MRI equipment and contribute to the development of imaging protocols and best practices.
• Support the Radiology Manager in policy development, service improvement, and compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior radiographers and students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
• Ensure all imaging is delivered with the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and compassion.

What We’re Looking For

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
• Postgraduate qualification in MRI (desirable)
• Experience in MRI scanning across a range of clinical indications
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
