Your opportunity

Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships with our donors and driving impact through strategic fundraising?

We are looking for a Mid Value Donor Specialist to join our team and lead the development of a structured mid-value donor program. In this role, you will create and execute innovative strategies to engage and grow our donor base, ensuring every supporter feels valued and connected to our mission.

To succeed, you’ll need at least 2 years’ experience managing and executing mid-value donor programs within a not-for-profit or charity setting, along with a proven ability to deliver results through data-driven campaigns, stewardship and exceptional stakeholder engagement.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop a multi‑year strategy (four years) to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors into the mid‑value program.
  • Design and oversee mid‑value product offerings, ensuring compelling propositions for donor engagement and growth.
  • Execute annual business plans, including tactical stewardship and multi‑channel campaigns to maximise lifetime value.
  • Lead targeted communications and storytelling, ensuring impact-led content and creative aligned to the program plan.
  • Collaborate across fundraising teams, especially Single Giving, Philanthropy (major gifts & gifts in Wills), Marketing, and Insights/BI, to coordinate moves management and brand consistency.
  • Own analytics, CRM-driven reporting, and budgeting, providing data-led insights, recommendations, and status updates on program performance.
  • Project manage cross-functional initiatives, contributing to team meetings and broader strategic projects (e.g., Elevate 2030) to advance fundraising outcomes.

Requirements for success

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing and executing a mid-value donor giving program for a not-for-profit or charity.
  • Proven track record in individual giving programs, including acquisition and retention campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong data-driven approach, with experience in strategic fundraising programs, CRM systems, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate strategy and present results clearly.
  • Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, fostering collaboration and engagement across internal and external partners.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and consistency across marketing, philanthropy, and insights teams.
  • Solid organisational and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing competing priorities effectively.
