The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.
Background information:
The DHoTS BAU Support Consultant will be responsible for the day-to-day support of our Digital Hub of Treasury Solutions (DHoTS) service.
Main duties and responsibilities:
The consultant will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Product Manager within the Digital Solutions Digital Product (DSDP) Unit and in close collaboration with the other DHoTS teams. The consultant shall ensure the completion of the following deliverables:
Monitor system performance, transaction flows, and alert dashboards
Monitor and support FIS TRAX operations, ensuring timely resolution of any processing or integration issues
Raise and track incidents and follow through to resolution
Ensure escalation and communication are handled efficiently
Perform hands-on TRAX configurations, including payment flows, file formats, and routing rules
Troubleshoot connectivity channels, including API, Host-to-Host (H2H), and SWIFT
Support and maintain file encryption/decryption processes, certificates, and secure file transfer protocols (e.g., SFTP)
Collaborate in the correct communication with external clients and internal teams, making DSDP a trusted point of contact for BAU issues
Support testing of changes, enhancements, and fixes in both test and production environments
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system setup and support processes
Maintain and improve support workflows using JIRA, JIRA Service Management, or ServiceNow
Work closely with the team to support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to streamline operations, enhance system stability, and transition project work into sustainable BAU processes
Ensure that the respective task assignments are accurately updated
Recruitment Profile
Experience and Skills required:
Essential:
At least two (2) years of experience in a technical support or application support role, preferably in FinTech or Payments
Proven experience supporting or operating within the FIS TRAX environment
Strong understanding of treasury and payments operations, including BAU workflows and messaging standards
Solid understanding of FIS TRAX monitoring and configuration
Experience with PGP file encryption/signature, certificate management, and file security best practices
Familiarity with payment file formats (e.g., ISO 20022 / pain.001, pain002, camt053, mt940) and transmission protocols
Experience managing secure connectivity (API, SWIFT, H2H)
Ability to take initiative and make decisions confidently
Desirable:
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools for monitoring
Exposure to regulatory compliance and audit processes in banking or finance sectors
Education:
Essential:
First university degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar fields
Desirable:
ITIL Foundation certification or similar
Languages:
English: Expert knowledge is required

Compensation:
Fee will be based either on the National Officer salary scales or the Individual Consultancy band levels (for Headquarters)
