This role focuses on developing processes for effective workforce and budget management, while building a long-term planning capability to ensure alignment with the JWC’s mission delivery.

Summary
The JWC plans, prepares, and executes static and distributed joint operational level training in support of Warfare Development and Warfighting readiness.
To support the establishment of the Plans Directorate, there is a need to establish processes and procedures that support more effective requirements management (workforce/budget) across the JWC as part of the key outputs.
The Requirements Manager will be responsible for the establishment of a long-term planning capability at the JWC and will act as a single point of entry for Allied Command Transformation’s (ACT) Capability Programme Plans (CPP) and Allied Command Operation’s (ACO) Operational Requirements, which may impact upon the ability of the JWC to deliver its mission. This post will form an integral part of the newly formed Directorate focused on future planning requirements.

Capable of working under limited/no supervision, using minor discretion in resolving problems or enquiries without frequent reference to others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Sound judgement and tact are required when justifying budgets to NATO committees. The ability to adapt to flexible work patterns and work as part of a team. Attention to details is important. Work under pressure, deadlines and have a proactive approach.
The work is normally performed in an office environment.
NOTE: The work both oral and written in this post and in this headquarters as a whole is conducted mainly in English.
