Job Description:
Major Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Implementation
- Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of MAPS deliverables.
- Coordinate with consortium members (ActionAid, Plan, Tearfund), local NGOs, and consultant.
- Ensure timely delivery of outputs and adherence to budget.
Stakeholder Engagement & Networking
- Facilitate consultations with INGOs, local NGOs, and donors.
- Represent WV in sectoral forums and promote MAPS adoption.
- Build trust and transparency among stakeholders.
Capacity Strengthening Support
- Coordinate training and mentorship activities for local NGOs.
- Ensure sustainability and local ownership of the passporting system.
Innovation & Solution Development
- Support co-creation of DD passporting framework.
- Integrate global best practices with Myanmar context.
- Promote creative approaches for capacity building and system rollout.
Monitoring, Reporting & Learning
- Track progress against indicators.
- Compile reports for WV and DEC.
- Document lessons learned and success stories.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to WV policies, donor requirements, and legal frameworks.
- Implement safeguarding and data protection protocols.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Take personal responsibility for career development through agreed development plans.
- Demonstrate commitment to World Vision’s Core Values, culture, and principles in all work and relationships.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Minimum five years of progressive experience in managing development or humanitarian projects, preferably in compliance, governance, or systems-strengthening initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong coordination and advocacy skills to align consortium members and partner NGOs with standardized due diligence processes and project objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholders (INGOs, local NGOs, donors) and build consensus in complex, multi-actor environments.
- Proven experience in innovation and technology development, particularly in designing or implementing solutions for due diligence standardization, passporting systems, or similar process innovations.
- Familiarity with donor compliance frameworks, safeguarding standards, and risk management protocols.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure, with minimal supervision.
