Support Vulnerable Children & Families’ Education and Shelter
Project Overview
Uganda continues to face high levels of household vulnerability, leaving thousands of children at risk of homelessness, hunger, malnutrition, and the denial of basic rights such as education, proper shelter, and medical care. Many families—especially those living in extreme poverty—struggle to meet even the most essential needs of their children.
Vulnerability appears in different forms, including:
• Critically vulnerable households: orphaned families, child-headed homes, children with disabilities, and households affected by HIV/AIDS.
• Moderately vulnerable households: impoverished families, elderly-headed homes, and families in fishing communities.
• Generally vulnerable households: single-parent homes, slum dwellings, families in poor housing, and polygamous households.
Vision for Vulnerable Communities Foundation (VVCF) is committed to empowering these families and restoring dignity, stability, and hope. Through direct support, education sponsorships, improved shelter, and livelihood empowerment, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and create sustainable impact.
