Funded by the New Zealand Government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Trade and implemented throughout countries in the Pacific region, the Safe Families program in Vanuatu will address critical child protection issues, focusing on violence, neglect, and sexual abuse of children. With over 80% of children in Vanuatu experiencing violent discipline, and girls facing high risks of sexual violence, the project aims to strengthen community-based, and state led child protection responses to create safer environments for children.
