The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyond—infrastructure with sustainability at its core. We began operations in Beijing in 2016 and have since grown to 111 approved members worldwide. We are capitalized at USD100 billion and AAA-rated by the major international credit rating agencies. Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients’ needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled, and promotes regional connectivity.
AIIB’s Portfolio Monitoring Department (PMD) is responsible for monitoring the Bank’s rapidly growing investment portfolio, which includes loans and equity investment. As AIIB’s portfolio expands, a dedicated Valuation and Analytics (VA) Team has been setup within PMD responsible for overseeing the fair value assessment of the investment operation portfolio. The VA Team contributes technical expertise to both the origination and reporting functions within AIIB, serving as a bridge that connects upstream investment activities with downstream reporting processes. By providing objective insights into portfolio performance, the VA Team plays a critical role in investment monitoring and equipping AIIB’s management with valuable inputs for decision-making.
The VA Intern will support team members in summarizing of key transaction documents, perform financial analysis, industry research and benchmarking analysis that will contribute insights into quarterly fair value exercise.
