Please note that this campaign will fill 2 different Project Manager roles: one based in Brain L’ Alleud (Belgium) and another one based in The Hague (Netherlands).

About the job

Based in The Hague, Netherlands (Command and Control Systems Project Manager) and in Brain L ‘Alleud, Belgium (Business Applications Project Manager), you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. As a Project Manager working on Command and Control Systems Applications or Business Applications in the Service Support and Business Applications Service Line (SSBA SL), you will directly manage and oversee the initiation, execution and delivery of medium sized projects as assigned to you within the area of responsibility of the SSBA SL, within budget, schedule and scope (quality).

About you

We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Project Manager with minimum 3 years of experience in Command and Control Systems Applications or Business Applications, who holds as a minimum a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline. A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

You will be asked to take full responsibility for the definition, execution and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects (typically with direct business impact and firm deadlines), including the identification, assessment and management of risks and issues related to the project, ensuring regular and accurate communication to stakeholders, consistent with the methods in use (agile, waterfall, etc.).

You need to ensure that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, schedule and quality and are signed off, including management of any change requests using appropriate processes.

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
