The Position holder will work in a project for Climate Change Impacts on Health and Population in Bangladesh: a study of Vulnerable Coastal Districts study under the Climate Change and Health of the Health System and Population Studies Division.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Research Assistant will report to Research Investigator and will be responsible for planning, designing, data analyzing, report writing, manuscript development, and implementation of research projects. S/he will be involved in–

The specific areas of responsibilities are detailed below:

• Develop questionnaire in coordination with PI for household survey
• Develop data collection tool using KOBO toolbox
• Analyse and interpret Data
• Develop guideline/ user manual for tab-based data entry
• Train enumerators for data collection
• Review literature
• Prepare reports and manuscript in consultation with PI.

Required qualification and experience:

• Masters in Statistics/ Applied Statistics;
• Relevant experience of 3 years on similar works including experience of working with R, STATA, SPSS, SurveyCTO and KOBO toolbox
• Previous experience of questionnaire development, data collection, data cleaning, and data analysis will have an added advantage.

Location: Dhaka

Contract Type and duration:

• CSA basis for 6months with a possibility of extension subject to availability of fund and performance.

Salary & benefits:

• Tk 43,423 /-per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances;
• Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b and subsidized canteen; Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
